Before you submit an abstract to participate in the CTGCT Days 2025, please read carefully the instructions and follow them when submitting your abstract through the submission form.
submission method
- All abstract must be submitted through the online form.
- Once submitted you should receive a confirmation that this abstract has been received on the same or the next working day. In case you have not received the confirmation please contact ctgct@ki.si .
- All correspondence concerning the abstract will be sent to the summitting author’s email address.
- Only in person presentations are possible.
LANGUAGE and format
- The abstract must be written in clear scientific English, using correct grammar and spelling.
- The title should be brief, up to 30 words and should be written in title case.
- All authors should be listed with the relevant affiliation(s) listed sequentially in parenthesis Example: Jane Doe (1), John Doe (2,3)
- Presenting author should be listed and contact email provided.
- The list of affiliations must include all the affiliations that were assigned to authors with their corresponding number Example: (1) National Institute of Chemistry, Department of Molecular Biology and Nanobiotechnology, Ljubljana, Slovenia (2) University Medical Center in Utrecht, Department of Hematology, Utrecht, Netherlands).
- The body of the abstract should summarize the contents of your contribution and should contain at least 100 and at most 300 words.
- List of up to 5 references with the following format (1) Name of the first author, et. al, Title of the Reference, Name of the Journal, year of publication.
- We would like to draw your attention to the fact that it is not possible to modify an abstract in any way, once it has been submitted. Every detail, including the order of the names of the authors and affiliations, should be checked before the abstract is submitted.
other important considerations
- The oral presentations will be broadcasted online and posters might be presented in an online gallery.
- Abstract will be reviewed by members of the CTGCT Days 2025 scientific committee.
- Notification of acceptance of abstracts will be sent electronically to submitting author’s email address. Should the presenting author not yet registered as an attendee, they are expected to register within one week of receiving the acceptance notification, otherwise we reserve the right to remove the acceptance of the abstract.
