The CTGCT was represented at the GMP Symposium 2026, held in Tuheljske Toplice (Croatia), where leading experts gathered to exchange knowledge and practical experiences in GMP environments. As part of the scientific program, our head Dr. Mojca Benčina contributed with a presentation titled “Designing Multifunctional GMP Facilities for ATMP Manufacturing under Biosafety Constraints”, addressing key considerations in the development of advanced therapy medicinal product (ATMP) manufacturing environments.
Her contribution highlighted the importance of integrating biosafety requirements with flexible facility design, an increasingly relevant topic as ATMPs continue to move from research into clinical and industrial settings. The symposium offered a strong platform for discussions on current regulatory expectations, cleanroom technologies, and practical implementation challenges. It also provided valuable opportunities for networking and exchange with partners across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
CTGCT is pleased to have contributed to this important professional gathering and to ongoing discussions that support the advancement of safe and effective ATMP manufacturing.
