Hands-on Training with 4D-Nucleofector Core- and X Unit
On Monday, February 10th, our team had the opportunity to explore the capabilities of the 4D-Nucleofector system, courtesy of a demo unit provided by Lonza. The workshop focused on the Core- and X unit, essential components that facilitate the electroporation process known as nucleofection.
The Core unit serves as the control hub, managing the entire system, while the X unit is responsible for carrying out nucleofection by delivering nucleic acids into various cell types. This advanced technology enables precise and efficient gene transfer, making it a valuable tool for cell-based research and therapeutic applications.Step-by-Step Training Overview A Lonza expert joined us online to provide real-time guidance on using the system.
This workshop provided invaluable hands-on experience, equipping our team with essential skills for efficient gene transfer techniques. We look forward to implementing this technology in our ongoing research and exploring further applications in cell therapy and molecular biology.
Stay tuned for more training sessions and workshops on advanced cell manipulation technologies!
