A bit about Aiko Ballardini:
Aiko Ballardini is a Quality Control Specialist at the Innovation Center for Advanced Therapies (ICAT), part of the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMCU). She contributes to defining and implementing quality control strategies for ATMPs by developing, optimizing and validating analytical methods. With hands-on experience in GMP-regulated quality control in the context of ATMP development and an academic background in Biotechnology and Biomedical Sciences, her work focuses on supporting the clinical translation of advanced therapies, with a particular interest in quality strategies during early-phase development. Her work is driven by a passion for bridging the gap between scientific innovation and regulatory compliance, with the ultimate goal of facilitating the safe and efficient clinical translation of advanced therapies to benefit patients.
